Ladies on trail at the 2015 Thunder Mountain Women's DH Weekend

Attention Ladies! Want to go from fearful to fearless on your mountain bike? Want to gain more confidence riding downhill? Want to feel the flow of the awesome trails at Thunder Mountain?

Thunder mountain is teaming up with Dirt Rock n Root Training for a women’s weekend of confidence building skill instruction and riding. You don’t have to be an experienced mountain biker to participant in this camp, you just have to have a desire to ride your mountain bike! While this camp is geared towards beginner to intermediate riders, all levels of riders can benefit from the skills we review.

Saturday starts with mountain bike fundamentals such as: basic body position, braking, and cornering. Then we’ll head out to "Sugar Line" for more coaching and on-trail feedback. After lunch we’ll work on some more skills and progress onto the blue trails. Sunday is all about more advanced skills. We will work on the skills for tackling drops and jumps including front, rear and level wheel lifts. Then we’ll take it onto the mountain to try out our new skills.

A mountain bike with 6+ inches of travel and flat pedals is recommended. Helmets are required. Body armor is highly recommended.
